ABOUT US!
XO #7039 was founded in 29/09/2017 by our robotics teacher, Nahum Naftelman in Youth Village Hadassah Neurim, Israel. The team consists of students from 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade. Most of our people are part of NAALE (Youth Immigrates Before Parents). We are new immigrants that came from the former Soviet Union (Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Latvia). We live and study in a boarding school without our families. There is no FRC competition in any of our countries, none of us has learned robotics before, so we had to learn it from the scratch. Most of us speak only Russian, which adds another challenge for us.
